I got error “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” when upload some images in Media Manager and i fixed the error using this:

0. login to wp-admin
1. open url to /wp-admin/update-core.php
2. click Re-Install Now in You have the latest version of WordPress
3. try to re-upload the images / media
