# yum install nginx php-xcache php-fpm

|| setup nginx

# vi /etc/nginx/nginx.conf

add / uncomment this line:

location ~ . php $ {
        fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000;
        fastcgi_index index.php;
        fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME  /var/www$fastcgi_script_name;
        include fastcgi_params;
}

|| starting nginx httpd and php-fpm

# /etc/init.d/php-fpm start
# /etc/init.d/nginx start

|| checking nginx httpd (80) and php-fpm (9000) ports

# netstat -tlupn
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address               Foreign Address             State       PID/Program name
